02What the module does

Less routine. More value.

Timesheets in Draivix track the time spent on tasks and projects. Employees can start a timer directly on a task, or import time entries from Toggl, Clockify, Kimai, ManicTime, ActivityWatch, or Wakapi and allocate them across tasks and projects. Your business sees exactly how much work went into every activity.

  • Track time directly on the taskStart, pause, and stop the timer on any task or record. It creates a time entry without making you leave the work in front of you.
  • Log time manually anytimeEnter worked hours manually with a button right on the task—useful whenever the timer was not running, while keeping the entry linked to the right job.
  • Keep your existing time trackerImport time from Toggl, Clockify, Kimai, ManicTime, ActivityWatch, and Wakapi. Your team can keep tracking where they are comfortable, and all entries come together in Draivix.
  • Flexible source connectionsConnect your time source via API, database, or file with encrypted credential storage. Choose whichever connection method your tool supports.
  • Every entry mapped to the right personMap users from the external tool to Draivix users so imported time always belongs to a specific person rather than an anonymous account.
  • Full visibility into every importEvery import is recorded as a run showing the count of new, updated, skipped, and failed rows. You immediately see whether data loaded cleanly and what needs attention.
  • Repeated imports without duplicatesEntries are matched by external ID, so re-running an import updates existing records instead of creating duplicates.
  • One entry, multiple projectsSplit a single time entry across multiple tasks and projects so work spanning several activities is attributed where it actually belongs.
  • Up-to-date hours on every taskAllocating a time entry automatically recalculates the task's logged hours, and a daily job keeps task totals current—no manual tallying required.
  • Monthly summary in work logsOn the first of the month, the system rolls up the previous month's time entries into work logs, giving you a complete monthly overview without manual compilation.

03How it works

How it works step by step.

  1. Task timer

You can start, pause, and stop a timer directly on a task or another record to create a time entry. You can also log time manually using a button right on the task.

  2. Import from time tracking tools

If your team tracks time elsewhere, you can configure a time source—Toggl, Clockify, Kimai, ManicTime, ActivityWatch, or Wakapi—connected via API, database, or file. Source credentials are stored encrypted, and users from the external tool are mapped to Draivix users.

    Read in detail

Every import is logged as a run with a summary of newly imported, updated, skipped, and failed rows. Entries are matched by external ID, so repeated imports update existing records without creating duplicates. Additional tools can be connected by adding a new adapter.

  3. Allocation across tasks and projects

A single time entry can be split across multiple tasks and projects. Once allocated, the task's logged time is recalculated, and a daily job keeps task hours up to date. On the first day of each month, the system summarizes the previous month's time entries into work logs.

    Read in detail

Time entries connect directly with project management and customer support, so time logged on a task is also visible on the project or support ticket.

  4. Who it is for

Timesheets are built for businesses that bill or evaluate work by task and project: development teams, service and project-driven companies, and support teams. People can keep using the time tracker they already know while their entries sync into Draivix, or use the built-in timer right on the task. Timesheets are separate from attendance: attendance tracks working hours, while timesheets show what was worked on during that time.

04What runs automatically

Automations that save time.

  1. Task hours updated daily

Every day, the system recalculates logged hours across tasks so projects and tickets always reflect current totals without manual calculation.

  2. Previous month summarized automatically

On the 1st of every month, the system summarizes the previous month's time entries into work logs, so the monthly overview is ready right at the start of the new month.

  3. Allocations take effect immediately

As soon as you allocate a time entry, the system recalculates the task's worked hours so the task immediately shows the exact time attributed to it.

  4. Imports update existing entries

On every repeated import, the system updates existing entries by their external ID. Changes from the source tool carry over without creating duplicate records.

External integrations

  • Keep tracking in TogglTime entries from Toggl sync into Draivix. Your team can keep tracking time in Toggl while entries are allocated to tasks and projects.
  • Clockify without retypingTime entries from Clockify load into Draivix ready to be allocated across tasks and projects—nobody has to enter them twice.
  • Kimai connected to timesheetsTime entries from Kimai flow into Draivix timesheets. People track time in Kimai as usual, and you see what was worked on.
  • ManicTime as a time sourceTime entries from ManicTime load into Draivix. Tool users are mapped to Draivix users so every entry belongs to the right person.
  • ActivityWatch in timesheetsRecords from ActivityWatch load into Draivix as a time source. Every import includes a summary of new, updated, skipped, and failed rows, so you know exactly what was imported.
  • Wakapi without duplicate rowsTime entries from Wakapi load into Draivix, and repeated imports simply update existing records by their external ID—preventing duplicate rows in timesheets.

05Frequently asked questions

Which tools can Draivix import logged time from?

From Toggl, Clockify, Kimai, ManicTime, ActivityWatch, and Wakapi—via API, database, or file depending on the tool.

Will repeated imports create duplicate entries?

No. Entries are matched by external ID, so repeated imports update existing records.

Can a single time entry be split across multiple projects?

Yes. You can allocate an entry across multiple tasks and projects, and task hours are recalculated automatically.

Do I have to use an external time tracking tool?

No. There is a built-in timer right on the task in Draivix, and you can also log time manually.
