02What the module does
Less routine. More value.
The dashboard is each user's home screen made up of tabs and widgets: counters, charts, lists, kanban boards, calendars and reports. Administrators prepare templates for individual roles, and users can then customize the layout themselves without a developer. Modules also add their own dedicated overviews—for sales, accounting, marketing or projects.
- Everyone starts with their own overviewEvery user has a home screen built from tabs and widgets—compact overview panels. As soon as they open the system, they see the exact data they work with.
- Anyone can adjust their own layoutDrag, drop and resize widgets right on the screen without a developer. Users tailor their own overview without waiting on anyone.
- An overview tailored to every roleThe catalog offers 89 widget types. You can assemble each home screen around what a given role in your company actually tracks.
- Numbers, lists and boards in one placeCore widgets cover counters, lists, kanban boards, notes, streams, activities, reports, charts and calendars. Combine metrics, tasks and deadlines on a single screen.
- External pages right on the dashboardEmbed an external web page inside a widget. Colleagues have it right on their home screen without opening a separate tab.
- Ready-made dashboards for every roleAdministrators assign dashboard templates to roles, and users receive their own copy the first time they sign in. Their changes do not affect the template, and template edits do not overwrite their dashboard.
- A shared starting point for the whole companyA shared default dashboard applies across the company. Anyone without a personal layout or a role template gets it automatically, so nobody starts with a blank screen.
- Share a great layout with the teamAn administrator can save any user's well-designed dashboard as a template. You can then roll out a proven layout to other colleagues without rebuilding it.
- Portable dashboardsExport and import dashboards as needed. Save a finished layout outside the system and upload it later without arranging widgets from scratch.
- Dedicated overviews for every departmentModules include built-in overviews for sales, accounting, marketing and projects. Each department starts with a view designed for its daily work.
- Key reports always in sightPlace any saved report on the dashboard as a widget, or use a summary chart widget to display aggregations over a selected record type. You do not have to re-run reports every time you need key figures.
- A terminal instead of a dashboardRoles that do not need a dashboard get an alternative home screen, such as an attendance terminal. People start right where their work happens.
- Your edits never affect othersEach user edits only their own widgets, and personal layouts are saved strictly per user. Nobody else's screen changes when you rearrange yours.
03How it works
How it works step by step.
A home screen users can customize themselves
Users can drag and drop widgets, resize them, add tabs and place new widgets. Personal layouts are saved only for that user and never affect anyone else. The catalog offers 89 widget types; core widgets include counters, record lists, kanban boards, notes, activity streams, activities, reports, charts, calendars and embedded pages.
Role-based templates
When a user opens the dashboard for the first time, the system looks in this order: their personal dashboard, a template assigned to one of their roles, the shared default dashboard, your company's configuration, and finally the built-in default overview. The template is copied to the user, so their edits do not alter the template and template updates do not overwrite their personal dashboard.
Read in detail
An administrator can save a specific user's well-configured dashboard as a template and reuse it for other team members. Dashboards can also be exported and imported.
Module-specific overviews
Modules come with their own dashboards: a sales overview in CRM, plus accounting, marketing, project and other overviews. The sales overview is also available directly at /crm/sales-overview. Team activity performance, developer activity from GitLab or a report from the Reports module can all be added as widgets.
Read in detail
Some roles need a different starting screen instead of a dashboard, such as an attendance terminal in HR or a site logbook. These are configured as an alternative home screen.
Charts in the AI assistant
The AI chat assistant can render charts and visualizations from your data right inside the conversation. Nothing is saved to the dashboard this way; for a permanent overview, use a widget.
04What runs automatically
Automations that save time.
Template ready on first sign-in
When a user opens the dashboard for the first time, the system copies their role template or the default dashboard. New colleagues immediately start with a prepared overview.
Module overviews stay up to date
When a bundled module dashboard changes, personal copies can be refreshed to the new version. Users get an overview that matches the current state of the module.
Clean removal with no leftover clutter
When you delete a dashboard, the system also removes its tabs and widgets. No orphaned widgets or unused views are left behind.
What the AI agent handles
Charts right inside the chat
The assistant renders charts and visualizations from your data directly in the chat. Nothing is saved to the dashboard; use a widget for a permanent overview.
Chart data without manual assembly
The assistant prepares chart data from selected records. You do not have to search and compile records yourself to see how numbers are trending.
A person approves whenever money, a customer, or an exception is involved.
05Frequently asked questions
Can a sales rep have a different dashboard than an accountant?
Yes. An administrator assigns a dashboard template to each role, and users receive their own copy the first time they open it.
Will editing a template overwrite users' existing dashboards?
No. The template is copied when a user first opens the dashboard, so later changes to the template do not alter existing personal dashboards.
How many widget types does Draivix offer?
The catalog includes 89 widget types, ranging from counters and lists to kanban boards, calendars, charts and reports.
Can I put a custom report on my dashboard?
Yes. You can place any saved report from the Reports module as a widget, and a summary chart widget is also available.
