02What the module does

Less routine. More value.

Reports is a report builder that works across any data in the system: grouped tables with totals, column lists, exports to CSV, XLSX and PDF, and dashboard widgets. Management can see monthly revenue or order counts by sales rep without exporting to Excel. The module also includes a BPMN process diagram editor and categories for organizing reports and workflows.

  • Reports from any dataCreate a report over any record type. Get answers to operational questions right inside the system without exporting to Excel or piecing data together by hand.
  • Numbers by month and by sales repA grid report groups data by field and time: day, week, month, quarter or year. Management can track monthly revenue or order counts per sales rep at a glance.
  • Totals and averages without ExcelReports calculate counts, totals, averages, minimums and maximums. Basic metrics are right in the results, so you never have to recalculate data elsewhere.
  • Turn tables into chartsDisplay the results of a grid report as a chart. Spot trends or differences between groups at a glance without reading through individual rows.
  • Only the columns you needA list report outputs your chosen columns in the sort order you define. You work with a clean, focused view free of unnecessary data.
  • Multiple currencies, one totalReports convert amounts across different currencies into a single currency. Add up foreign-currency deals and documents without manual conversions.
  • Records behind every numberClick into any group to view the underlying records. Whenever a number surprises you, you can immediately check what is behind it.
  • Pre-saved and runtime filtersSave filters directly in the report or let users set them when running it. A single report can serve multiple time periods or sales reps.
  • Everyone sees what they are allowed toBy default, reports respect user permissions, so everyone only sees the rows they have access to. The only exception is a grid report published by an administrator.
  • Take your results anywhereExport results to CSV, XLSX or PDF. Hand over data to management, your accountant or a partner in a format they can work with right away.
  • Reports right on your dashboardPlace a saved report widget and a summary chart widget on your dashboard to keep key figures on your home screen.
  • Organized reports and workflowsOrganize both reports and workflows into a category tree. As your library grows, you can find the right report or rule by area rather than from memory.
  • Business processes mapped out visuallyDraw business processes in BPMN format in the editor and organize them into categories. Diagrams are for documentation; automated processes run in the Automation module.
  • Migrate reports from EspoCRMA report conversion command migrates reports from EspoCRM installations into Draivix. You do not have to rebuild the reports you already rely on.

What is currently in progress

  • The module does not include scheduled email delivery of reports; a workflow can send an email, but it will not automatically attach the report output.
  • The BPMN editor is for drawing processes; a diagram itself does not execute anything—processes are automated in the Automation module.

03How it works

How it works step by step.

  1. Grid and list reports

Build reports over any record type. A grid report groups data by fields and time periods (day, week, month, quarter, year) and calculates count, sum, average, minimum and maximum; results can also be displayed as a chart. A list report outputs selected columns in your chosen order.

    Read in detail

Reports convert amounts in different currencies into a single currency and calculate time groupings in your company's time zone. You can drill down into any group to view the underlying records. Filters can be saved in the report definition or entered at runtime.

  2. Permissions and export

By default, a report respects user permissions, so everyone sees only the rows they have access to. A published grid report (which only an administrator can publish) runs without checking the viewer's row-level permissions—so publish only summaries that all viewers are allowed to see. All reports require signing in and permission to read reports.

Export results to CSV, XLSX or PDF. PDFs are generated using the same engine as the system's other print outputs.

  3. Reports on the dashboard

Place any saved report on your dashboard as a widget. A summary chart widget displays an aggregation over a selected record type. Both reports and workflows can be organized into a category tree.

  4. BPMN editor and EspoCRM migration

The BPMN editor lets you draw company processes and save them into categories. To actually execute automated processes, use the Automation module. Reports from EspoCRM installations can be migrated into Draivix using the report conversion command.

04What runs automatically

Automations that save time.

  1. Reports are validated on save

Every time you save a report, the system validates its definition. You catch any configuration issues immediately, not when you urgently need the numbers.

  2. Scheduled workflows run continuously

A background job runs every minute to execute scheduled workflows in the Automation module. The processes you configure run on schedule without manual intervention.

External integrations

  • Migrate from EspoCRM with your reports intactA conversion command transfers reports from EspoCRM installations into Draivix, so the reports your company uses continue working after the switch.

What the AI agent handles

  • Instant charts in chat

The assistant plots charts from your data right in the chat. It does not run saved reports on its own—you run those yourself in the Reports module.

A person approves whenever money, a customer, or an exception is involved.

05Frequently asked questions

Does everyone see all data in a report?

No. By default, a report respects user permissions, so everyone only sees the rows they have access to. The exception is a grid report published by an administrator.

What formats can a report be exported to?

To CSV, XLSX and PDF.

Can Draivix email reports on a regular schedule?

The module does not have scheduled report emailing. A workflow can send an email on a schedule, but it will not automatically attach the report output.

Does a BPMN diagram execute processes?

No. The BPMN editor is for drawing and documenting processes. You configure automated steps in the Automation module.

Can I migrate reports from EspoCRM?

Yes. A report conversion command converts EspoCRM reports into the new format.
