02What the module does
Less routine. More value.
Payroll inputs in Draivix prepare a monthly row for each employee with hours worked pulled from attendance, team leads add bonuses, and the director approves the inputs for the accountant. Contractor invoices from email and QR codes from Czech DPP agreement documents are converted into payout records ready to send to the bank. Your company has all payroll and bonus inputs approved in one place.
- Open the month in a single stepOpening a month creates a line for every employee and contract on the payroll. Nobody has to set up payroll inputs manually person by person.
- Hours pulled straight from attendanceHours and days worked under the primary contract are pulled directly from that month’s attendance sheet. The accountant does not have to retype them, and payroll inputs are based on actual time records.
- Team leads add bonusesTeam leads enter bonuses directly into the payroll inputs, with individual bonuses tracked on separate lines. You see all rewards in one overview alongside the rest of the payroll data.
- Base pay calculated automaticallyFor employees with automatic calculation enabled, the system derives base pay from their monthly salary or from their hourly rate and hours worked. You do not have to calculate the amount on the side.
- Variable pay based on your rulesThe system calculates variable pay as a percentage of the revenue base according to rules set per employee. How that base is calculated can be defined for your company.
- Overtime, night shifts and weekends includedFor hourly pay, the system includes premiums for overtime (25% by default), night work from 22:00 to 6:00 (10%) and weekends (10%). You can adjust the percentages to match your company policy.
- The director has the final sayA director with company-wide permissions approves the payroll inputs or returns them for correction. Team leads cannot approve bonuses for their own teams.
- The accountant knows when to startAs soon as the director approves the inputs, the payroll accountant gets a notification. Nobody has to message them that the inputs are ready, and they do not have to chase anyone.
- Bonuses for hitting targetsAt the start of the quarter, the system creates key performance indicator (KPI) evaluations, and once evaluated, it marks target completion and the bonus amount. Performance rewards follow clear rules.
- Invoices from email without retypingFrom an email with a contractor’s invoice, you create a payout record with one click after selecting the attachment, and AI extracts the amount, period and bank account. You Simply review the details.
- Mismatched invoices are blockedThe system rejects any contractor invoice whose counterparty does not match the profile, or an invoice issued by your own company. Such documents never make it to payout.
- DPP payouts from QR codesFor Czech short-term work agreements (DPP), you can read payout details directly from the bank QR code on the document. There is no need to type payment details manually.
- Send payouts straight to the bankSend selected payouts to the bank as payment orders, either for the due date or immediately. You do not have to enter payment orders one by one in online banking.
- Spot missing payouts immediatelyThe coverage overview shows by person and month whose payout record is missing for which period. You can immediately see what still needs to be completed.
03How it works
How it works step by step.
Monthly payroll breakdown
Opening a month—either from the application or via a command—creates a row for every employee and contract on the payroll. It skips people who are not on the payroll or have an inactive account, and it can be restricted to a single company. Hours and days worked under the primary contract are pulled from that month's attendance sheet; the sheet does not need to be approved in advance.

Team leads fill in bonuses. For employees with calculation enabled, the system derives base pay (monthly salary, or hourly rate multiplied by hours worked), the variable component as a percentage of the revenue base, hourly wage premiums for overtime (25% by default), night work from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. (10%), and weekends (10%), plus KPI bonuses and the total amount. Open rows can be recalculated; submitted and approved rows retain their derived pay.
Director approval
A team lead submits the payroll inputs, and a director approves them or returns them for revision. Only a user with company-wide permissions can approve or return them, so team leads cannot approve bonuses for their own team. Once approved, the payroll accountant receives a notification. Resubmitting to the same status changes nothing, and the system rejects any transition from an invalid status.
Read in detail
You can define how the revenue base for variable pay is calculated for your company—for example, a commission calculated as a percentage of invoiced monthly sales.
KPI bonuses
At the start of each quarter, the system creates an evaluation record for every active KPI and every employee in its group. Once evaluated, it marks whether the target was met and determines the bonus amount. The bonus is paid out in the monthly payroll allocation for the month set as an offset from the end of the quarter (one month by default).
Contractor and DPP payouts
When a contractor emails an invoice from the address listed on their profile, you can create a payout record from the email with a single click after selecting the attachment. The email thread is linked to the record, and AI extracts the amount, period and bank account from the invoice. The system rejects any invoice whose counterparty does not match the profile or that is issued by your own company. For Czech short-term work agreements (DPP), payouts can be read from the bank QR code on the document.

Each payout moves through the statuses draft, ready, sent, paid, or cancelled or blocked. You send selected payouts to the bank as payment orders, either scheduled for the due date or immediately. Payouts are marked as paid once matched with a bank transaction. A coverage overview shows which people and months are still missing a payout record.
04What runs automatically
Automations that save time.
Opening a month pulls attendance
When you open a month, the system creates the lines and populates them with hours and days worked from attendance. Payroll inputs start from recorded time rather than an empty spreadsheet.
Clear status on every payroll input
With each step, the payroll allocation switches between open, submitted, approved or returned. The system rejects any step from the wrong status, keeping the approval sequence intact.
Approved and the accountant is notified
As soon as the director approves the inputs, the system notifies the payroll accountant. Nobody has to remember the handoff, and the accountant knows right away.
Evaluations ready for the quarter
Opening a KPI quarter creates an evaluation for every active metric and every employee in its group. Nobody has to create them manually metric by metric.
Every payout has its own status
Each payout moves through the statuses draft, ready, sent, paid, or cancelled or blocked as it progresses. You always know what has already been sent and what is still pending.
Payment confirmed by the bank
Once a payout is matched with a bank transaction, the system marks it as paid. The status reflects actual account activity rather than guesswork.
Follow-up steps after approval
You can attach an automation rule to input approval, such as creating a task for the accountant. Follow-up work is triggered the moment the director approves the inputs.
External integrations
- Contractor invoices from emailContractor invoices arrive in the system from company email inboxes. The email thread attaches to the payout record, so you have the original correspondence alongside every payout.
- Bank connection via the Banking moduleThrough the Banking module, you send payment orders to the bank and match incoming and outgoing payments. You can easily compare sent payouts against what the bank actually processed.
What the AI agent handles
AI extracts invoice details
An AI agent extracts the amount, period and bank account from a contractor’s invoice. A person then reviews the resulting record, keeping control over payouts firmly in your hands.
A person approves whenever money, a customer, or an exception is involved.
05Frequently asked questions
Does attendance have to be approved before opening monthly payroll inputs?
No. Hours and days are pulled from the monthly attendance sheet regardless of its approval status.
Can a team lead approve bonuses for their own team?
No. Only a user with company-wide permissions—typically a director—can approve or return payroll inputs.
How does Draivix calculate pay premiums?
For hourly wages, it adds premiums for overtime, night work between 22:00 and 6:00, and weekend work. The default rates are 25%, 10% and 10%, and you can customize them.
How do contractor invoices get into payouts?
You create a payout record from the invoice email with a single click, AI extracts the amount, period and bank account, and the system verifies the counterparty. You then send finished records to the bank as payment orders.
Does this module calculate net pay and statutory deductions?
No. It prepares payroll inputs and bonuses. Gross-to-net calculation is handled by the PayrollCZ module or your external payroll accountant.
