02What the module does
Less routine. More value.
The Outlook integration connects Microsoft 365 mailboxes and calendars to Draivix via Microsoft Graph. Mail syncs almost instantly, and meetings, events, tasks, and approved leave from Draivix are automatically written to your Outlook calendar. Businesses running on Microsoft 365 never have to re-enter anything by hand.
- Mailbox connected without a passwordYou connect your Microsoft 365 mailbox via OAuth—signing in directly with Microsoft—and Draivix never stores your password. Your company never holds email passwords inside the ERP.
- Read stays readFolders, read status, flags, and importance all sync via Microsoft Graph. You see your mail in Draivix in the exact same state as in Outlook.
- New messages almost instantlyMicrosoft reports mailbox changes via Graph subscriptions, so new messages show up in Draivix almost immediately. Your team never has to wait for the next scheduled mail check.
- Sending stays with MicrosoftDraivix sends outgoing messages via Microsoft Graph—directly through your Microsoft account. You do not need to configure a separate mail server for sending.
- Attachments right at hand in DraivixDraivix fetches email attachments via Microsoft Graph. You can open a customer's document right from the message without switching over to Outlook.
- Meetings straight in OutlookNew meetings and events created in Draivix are written to the Outlook calendar. People see their schedule where they are used to looking, and nobody has to copy dates over by hand.
- Tasks synced to the calendarWhen you save a task in Draivix, it is written to your Outlook calendar. People can plan their work in a single calendar alongside meetings and other deadlines.
- Outlook sends the invitationsWhen you enable this option, meetings are pushed to Outlook complete with attendees, and Outlook sends out the invitations. Attendees receive standard invitations just as they expect from their email client.
- One-click publishingEvents and meetings include a button to publish them manually to Outlook. When you decide to add a date to the calendar later, you do not have to create it twice.
- Outlook events in DraivixDraivix imports events from Outlook, including recurring series. Your schedule also shows appointments created outside the system.
- Approved leave in the calendarApproved leave is added to the calendar and removed if the request is deleted. The calendar always reflects the real status without manual edits.
- Backfill past leave in bulkEarlier approved leave requests can be added to the calendar in bulk. After turning on the integration, you do not need to enter past records one by one.
- Calendar sync only when neededCalendar writing can be turned off separately for each connection. Anyone who wants only Microsoft email in Draivix can set it up without affecting colleagues.
03How it works
How it works step by step.
How it works
An administrator registers the application in Microsoft Entra and enters its credentials in Draivix settings. Users then connect their Microsoft 365 accounts, and Draivix sets up their email accounts. The connection renews automatically, and passwords are never stored in Draivix.
Read in detail
Mail is read via Microsoft Graph while preserving read status, flags, and importance. Draivix subscribes to mailbox change notifications from Microsoft, so new messages appear right away. Outgoing mail is also sent via Graph.
Two-way calendar sync
When you create a meeting or event or save a task in Draivix, it appears on your Outlook calendar. With the invitations option enabled, the meeting arrives in Outlook complete with attendees, and Outlook itself sends out the invitations and updates. Events and meetings also include a button for manual publishing to Outlook.
Read in detail
In the other direction, Draivix imports events from Outlook, including recurring series. An administrator runs the initial import, after which regular synchronization runs automatically every five minutes.
Leave on the calendar
An approved leave request from the HR module is automatically added as an event on the Outlook calendar. If the request is deleted, the event is removed. If writing to the calendar fails, Draivix retries automatically. Older approved requests can also be backfilled to the calendar in bulk.
What your company configures
You configure the Entra tenant, application ID and secret, and permission scopes. Default permissions cover reading and writing mail, sending mail, calendar, and contacts. Calendar publishing can be turned off for each connection individually. Microsoft OAuth login for IMAP and SMTP is also available.
04What runs automatically
Automations that save time.
New meetings go straight to Outlook
When a meeting or event is created in Draivix, the system publishes it to Outlook. Your team gets the appointment on their calendar without entering it twice.
Saved tasks appear in Outlook too
As soon as you save a task, the system publishes it to Outlook. Work assigned in Draivix shows up in the calendar people use every day.
Leave sync retries on error
Once a request is approved, the system writes the leave to the calendar. If an error occurs, it retries up to six times, so you do not have to fix temporary glitches by hand.
Deleted request, clean calendar
When a leave request is deleted, the system removes its event from the calendar. Cancelled dates never linger in Outlook.
Calendar synced every five minutes
Every five minutes, the system syncs the calendar with Outlook so schedule changes arrive without manual action. It starts with an initial import triggered by an administrator.
Change notifications trigger sync
As soon as Microsoft Graph reports a mailbox change, Draivix syncs the mail. New messages appear right away without waiting for a scheduled check.
Change subscriptions renew automatically
The system regularly renews its Microsoft mailbox change subscription. New mail notifications keep arriving without the administrator having to think about it.
