02What the module does
Less routine. More value.
The module connects Draivix to the Balikobot carrier aggregator (API v2). It can generate shipping labels, book pickups, check shipment status and cancel shipments, preconfigured for Czech Post, PPL, DPD and Zasilkovna. Standard dispatch does not call it yet, so integration code connects it to your processes.
- Shipping label via BalikobotThe module interface generates shipping labels via Balikobot API v2. Integration code connects it to your workflows, as standard dispatch does not call it yet.
- Pickup booked through the interfaceThe module can book a carrier pickup via Balikobot. This operation is triggered by integration code connected to your company's processes rather than standard dispatch.
- On-demand shipment statusThe interface retrieves the current shipment status from the carrier on demand. Statuses are not polled automatically on a schedule; your integration triggers the query.
- Shipments can be cancelledThe module can cancel a shipment with the carrier via Balikobot. Your integration can void a dispatch that is no longer needed through the same channel as other operations.
- Four carriers preconfiguredCzech Post, PPL, DPD and Zasilkovna come preconfigured, each with a default service. You do not have to set them up from scratch when integrating.
- API key stored as a passwordYou enter the Balikobot username and API key in the company settings. The key is stored as a password, and one set of credentials applies to all users.
- Configurable request timeoutIn the settings, you specify the API URL and request timeout (20 s by default). This lets you tailor how long the integration waits for a response.
- Declared shipment value always filled inWhen no declared value is entered on a shipment, the default from the settings is used. A shipment is never left without a value simply because nobody filled it in.
- Additional carriers via configurationYou add another carrier by updating the module configuration with its Balikobot code and default service—no need to build a new integration for it.
What is currently in progress
- No standard dispatch process calls the interface; connecting it to your documents requires integration code.
- The module has no screen for printing labels.
- Shipment statuses are not fetched periodically; there is no scheduled tracking job.
03How it works
How it works step by step.
What the module does
The module provides a unified carrier interface with four operations: generate a label, book a pickup, track a shipment and cancel a shipment. It calls the Balikobot API v2. Four carriers come preconfigured with a default service: Czech Post, PPL, DPD and Zasilkovna. You can add another carrier by adding its Balikobot code and default service to the module configuration.
Read in detail
Shipment details—such as the carrier, tracking number and label link—belong to the Shipment record in the accounting module.
The interface serves as the single integration point for shipping. Another provider can be connected through a custom module that implements the same interface, leaving the rest of the system unchanged.
Configuration
In the company settings, you enter your Balikobot API username and key. The key is stored as a password. Public Balikobot test credentials are set by default, and you enter your production credentials yourself. You can also configure the API URL, request timeout (20 seconds by default) and a fallback declared shipment value when none is specified (1 by default).
Read in detail
Settings apply at the company level, so one set of credentials works for all users. The API key is masked as a password in the settings.
Current scope
The interface is built and registered, but no standard dispatch workflow calls it yet. The warehouse module prepares outbound delivery notes and stock issue slips. Handing shipments over to a carrier via Balikobot is wired up with integration code during your company's implementation. The module does not have its own screen for printing labels or a scheduled job to poll shipment statuses periodically.
04What runs automatically
Connected to the outside world.
External integrations
- Balikobot carrier aggregatorThe module calls Balikobot API v2, the carrier aggregator interface, for labels, pickups, tracking and shipment cancellation. Integration code connects it to your documents.
- Four carriers in oneThrough Balikobot, the module connects to Czech Post, PPL, DPD and Zasilkovna. It works with all of them through the same interface, so you do not need separate integrations for each carrier.
05Frequently asked questions
Which carriers does Draivix support via Balikobot?
Czech Post, PPL, DPD and Zasilkovna come preconfigured. Additional carriers can be added to the module configuration using their Balikobot code.
Does Draivix print a label automatically from a delivery note?
Not out of the box. The label interface is ready, but linking it to a delivery note or shipment is done via integration code during implementation.
Where do I enter my Balikobot credentials?
In the company settings under the Balikobot section. The API key is stored as a password, and public test credentials are set by default.
Can Draivix track shipment status?
The interface can check shipment status on demand. The module does not poll statuses automatically on a schedule.
Do I need my own Balikobot account?
Yes, for live operations you enter your own credentials. The default public test credentials are for testing only.
