02What the module does
Less routine. More value.
The Yeastar integration connects a Yeastar TG GSM gateway to Draivix telephony. Each SIM card in the gateway becomes a line your team can use to make calls and send SMS directly from the softphone. Your company uses standard mobile numbers while logging every call and message in the CRM.
- SIM cards as company linesEvery SIM card in the Yeastar TG gateway becomes a softphone line. Your team calls from regular company mobile numbers directly inside Draivix.
- Calls to the mobile networkAn outbound GSM call goes from the softphone to the gateway, which routes it to the mobile network according to the line prefix. The user simply selects a line and the gateway handles the rest.
- Inbound calls routed to the right lineThe gateway forwards mobile network calls to Draivix, which assigns them to the matching line. Customers call standard mobile numbers and your team answers in the softphone.
- Live line statusEvery three seconds, the live status of each gateway port is checked: available, busy, or unavailable. You can see in the softphone which line is free before you start dialing.
- SMS from the right SIM cardAn SMS is sent from the SIM card whose number matches the sender. The customer receives the message from the number they already know for you.
- Long SMS delivered as one messageIncoming SMS messages are saved as records and multi-part messages are merged into a single message. You read a long message from a customer in full, not in fragments.
- No SMS lost during connection dropsOnce the connection to the gateway is restored, Draivix checks the gateway inbox for SMS from the last 48 hours. Messages received during an outage are backfilled into the system.
- Gateway login stays accessibleIf the gateway rejects a password, the system remembers and stops retrying so the gateway’s web logindoes not get locked out. The administrator can then fix the credentials without trouble.
- Ports come back properly configuredWhen a port returns to service, the system reapplies its modem parameters. There is no need to reconfigure the line manually after an outage.
- Automations with a chosen numberAn automation rule can send an SMS from a specific SIM card. Automated customer messages are sent from the exact number you designate for that purpose.
03How it works
How it works step by step.
How it works
In the settings, you define each SIM card in the gateway: its phone number, outbound routing prefix, and inbound destination. Outbound calls go from the softphone through the SIP bridge to the gateway, which routes them to the mobile network based on the prefix. Inbound calls are passed from the gateway to Draivix and assigned to the right line.
Read in detail
A line can be reserved for specific users in telephony. For every line, the softphone displays live status: available, busy, or unavailable.
The administrator enters the login credentials for the AMI interface and the gateway web interface in the Draivix settings. The gateway must allow the application server address in its SMS API settings.
SMS via SIM cards
Each SMS is sent from the SIM card whose number matches the sender. Once the gateway confirms dispatch, the message is marked as sent or failed. Incoming SMS messages are saved as SMS records, and multi-part messages are combined into one.
Read in detail
An automation rule can send an SMS from a selected SIM card. Incoming SMS messages are matched by phone number to a contact, lead, or company.
Reliable operation
A single process polls the gateway every three seconds to check port status and pushes updates to softphones. After every reconnection to the gateway, Draivix checks the gateway inbox for SMS from the last 48 hours so no message is lost. When a port comes back online, the system reapplies its modem parameters.
04What runs automatically
Automations that save time.
Continuous port monitoring
Every three seconds, the system checks the status of the gateway ports and pushes changes to softphones. Your team always has an up-to-date view of which line is free.
Every SMS becomes a record
When the gateway receives an SMS, the system creates an SMS message record from it. The message does not just sit in the gateway—it is searchable in Draivix.
Missed SMS recovery
After every new connection to the gateway, the system retrieves any missed SMS from the gateway inbox over the last 48 hours. A customer message is never lost due to a dropped connection.
Modem reconfigured after an outage
When a port comes back after an outage, the system restores the modem settings, at most once per minute. The line returns to service without manual intervention and without overloading the gateway.
External integrations
- Connection to the Yeastar gatewayDraivix communicates with the Yeastar TG GSM gateway over the AMI interface, which carries both port status and SMS. Your company can use its own mobile numbers directly inside the system.
- SMS from the gateway web interfaceThrough the Yeastar gateway web interface, Draivix loads received and sent SMS messages. Messages from periods when the connection was down are backfilled into the system.
- Calls bridged to the softphoneCalls between the softphone and the gateway are carried by the LiveKit SIP bridge provided by the Telephony module. Users make calls from their browser or mobile app through the SIM cards in the gateway.
05Frequently asked questions
Which Yeastar gateways does Draivix support?
Yeastar TG series GSM gateways. Each port with a SIM card acts as a separate line in Draivix.
Will I get an SMS delivery receipt?
No. Draivix knows that the gateway sent the SMS, but the gateway does not provide confirmation of delivery to the recipient’s phone.
Are SMS messages lost if the connection to the gateway drops?
No. Once the connection is restored, Draivix scans the gateway inbox for the last 48 hours and fills in any missing messages.
Can I split an SMS across multiple lines?
No. The gateway interface does not transmit line breaks; they are sent as spaces.
