The DataBox module connects your company's Czech data boxes (ISDS) to Draivix. It downloads received and sent data messages with attachments, sorts them into folders, links them to companies and contacts, and notifies the responsible people. You can send messages straight from Draivix.
- Messages ready in the system each morningEvery night, received and sent messages are downloaded from all active boxes. In the morning, they are waiting in Draivix without you opening each data box separately.
- Attachments without duplicatesAttachments are downloaded with every message, and repeated synchronization never creates duplicates. Your files stay organized.

03How it works
How it works step by step.
Downloading messages
Every night, the system checks all active Czech data boxes. It downloads received and then sent messages—by default for the last 90 days—including attachments. Repeated downloads never create duplicate attachments.
Read in detail
A Czech data box password is valid for 90 days. When expiration approaches (14 days in advance), synchronization alerts you. An expired password stops downloads until you update it. Passwords are encrypted in the database. You can test the data box connection with a button.
Sorting and linking to customers
Filters by sender, recipient, subject, and keywords move a message to a folder, mark it as read, or suppress notifications. Assign a Czech data box ID to a company or contact, and the message will appear in their history.
Read in detail
A message is visible to users who have access to that company or folder, and users receive notifications. In the inbox, you can tag messages, move them to folders or trash, and track who took ownership of them and how far processing has progressed.
Sending messages
Write a message as a draft and send it. Sending with the Czech data box system does not happen in a single step. If interrupted, a message may remain in Sending status or show an error. Before sending it again, check the data box to verify whether it already went through.
Delivery upon login
Synchronization logs into the Czech data box. Under Czech law, logging in as a person authorized to read delivered messages can constitute legal delivery. Choose your login credentials and synchronization schedule with this in mind. Tax filings are not sent automatically via the data box.

Nightly data box synchronization
All active data boxes synchronize every night, bringing new messages into Draivix without manual downloading.
Automatic folder routing
When a message matches a filter, it is automatically placed into the corresponding folder so you do not have to sort messages one by one.
Automatic company matching
Based on the data box address, each message is linked to the right company or contact. You do not need to attach it manually and can find it in the history right away.
Notifications and activity logging
When a new message arrives, a notification is sent and an entry is logged in the company history. Your team is alerted and the message stays easy to trace.
Follow-up tasks on official mail
Set a rule in the Automation module—for example, to create a task for your accountant whenever a message arrives from the tax office. Official mail goes straight to the person who handles it.
External integrations
- Direct ISDS connectionDraivix connects via SOAP to ISDS, the Czech Data Box Information System operated by the Ministry of the Interior, transferring both incoming and outgoing data messages.
05Frequently asked questions
How often does Draivix download data messages?
By default, once every night for all active data boxes. You can trigger a manual synchronization at any time.
Does downloading a message count as official delivery?
Under Czech law, logging in as a person authorized to read incoming messages can constitute official delivery. Because synchronization logs in to the data box, choose your credentials and schedule with this in mind.
Can I send a data message from Draivix?
Yes. If sending ends in the Sending state or with an error, check the status directly in the data box before trying again.
Does Draivix submit Czech VAT returns via the data box?
No, tax filings are not sent automatically via the data box.
What happens when the password expires?
Synchronization stops until you update the password. The system notifies you 14 days before the password is due to expire.
