02What the module does

Less routine. More value.

The Core platform provides shared services used by every Draivix module: company lookup in public registries (Czech ARES, Slovak registries, EU VIES, Zive firmy), automatic document numbering series, exchange rate history, and XML feeds. It also includes personal and team user preferences and versioned company rules. Because modules share these services, none of them has to reinvent them on its own.

  • Load company details from Czech ARESWith a button on the company form, you can look up a business in the Czech ARES registry and configure whether the building number is included in the street field. No manual retyping needed.
  • Slovak companies from public registriesThe system also searches the Slovak RPO and RegisterUZ registries. You do not have to type Slovak company details by hand, and an administrator enables the registries in settings.
  • Verified EU partner VAT IDVerify tax identification numbers (VAT IDs) in the European VIES system. When working with an EU partner, you can validate their VAT ID right from the company form.
  • Company data from Zive firmyYou can also look up businesses via the Czech Zive firmy directory, which requires an access token. An administrator enables it separately in settings, just like the other registries.
  • Documents number themselvesEvery document receives a number matching your format, including the year and zero-padding. Nobody has to track which number comes next, and the sequence stays consistent.
  • Never the same document number twiceThe counter is reserved with a lock so two users can never receive the same number. Even when documents are issued simultaneously, duplicate numbers never occur.
  • Series continues from your numberIf you manually enter a number higher than the counter, the series continues from there and a manually entered number is never issued again. Numbering stays clean and conflict-free.
  • Day-by-day exchange ratesThe system stores exchange rate history with one record per currency per day. You can always look back to see which rate applied on any given date.
  • XML feeds from your recordsAn XML feed is built from a record filter and an XML template, with text replacements to refine the output. That makes it easy to publish a product feed or any other public feed.
  • Bulk attachments in ZIP archivesDownload attachments across multiple records as a single ZIP file, or upload documents from a ZIP archive. You never have to transfer large batches of files one by one.
  • Settings for one user or the whole companyPreferences apply to a user, team, role, company, or installation, and the system uses the first value found in that order. You can set company-wide defaults in one place.
  • Light, dark and automatic themeUsers can set a light, dark, or automatic theme in their profile. Everyone can tailor the interface to their own habits and lighting conditions.
  • Rule changes only after approvalCompany rules are saved in draft, published, and superseded versions. Publishing requires proof of approval and a reason for the change, and a published version can no longer be modified.
  • Rules for the whole company or a single jobAssign a rule version to any scope—from the entire company, a site, or a warehouse down to a single order—and set its effective date. An exception for one site never alters the rest of the business.
  • No guesswork on the active valueFor every situation, the system resolves exactly one valid value—and if that is not possible, it reports an error instead of guessing. Operations are never left to chance.

03How it works

How it works step by step.

  1. Company lookup in public registries

The company form includes a button to look up company details in public registries. The system supports the Czech ARES registry, Slovak registries (RPO and RegisterUZ), EU VAT ID verification via VIES, and the Czech Zive firmy directory. For ARES, you can choose whether the building number is appended to the street field.

    Read in detail

An administrator enables each registry separately in settings; they are turned off by default. Zive firmy requires an access token.

  2. Document numbering series

Invoices, quotes, and other documents receive a number automatically when saved according to a defined format, such as NA-{YY}-{number} zero-padded to five digits. The counter is reserved with a lock so two users never get the same number, and on first use it continues from the highest existing number.

    Read in detail

A manually entered number is never issued a second time. If you enter a number higher than the current counter, the series continues from that number. Adding a new numbered document requires only a field definition—no programming.

  3. Exchange rates, XML feeds and attachments

The system stores exchange rate history with one record per currency and day. With the Accounting module enabled, exchange rates are fetched every six hours.

    Read in detail

An XML feed is generated from a record filter and an XML template; text replacements adjust the output, and the feed can be made public—for example as a product feed. You can download attachments from multiple records as a ZIP archive, copy them to another record, or upload documents from a ZIP file.

  4. User preferences

Preferences are granular settings that belong to a user, team, role, the entire company, or the installation—such as theme (light, dark, automatic), saved list views, or AI chat options. The system looks up values in the order of user, team, role, company, and installation, applying the first match found. Users can change their preferences in their profile.

    Read in detail

Sensitive preferences marked as secret are never exposed to the AI assistant. Other preferences can be read and updated by the assistant under the same validation rules as the form.

  5. Versioned company rules

Company rules are parameters that govern module behavior—for example in manufacturing. They are stored in rule sets with draft, published, and superseded versions. Publishing requires proof of approval and a reason for the change; a published version cannot be edited and is only replaced by publishing a new version.

    Read in detail

You assign a version to a scope (entire company, legal entity, site, warehouse, zone, production unit, product line, product revision, order type, specific order, or approved exception) with an effective date. For every situation, the system resolves exactly one valid value and reports an error rather than guessing if it encounters ambiguity.

04What runs automatically

Automations that save time.

  1. Number assigned on save

When a record is saved, the system assigns a document number according to the configured format. The user does not need to fill anything in, and the document gets its number immediately.

  2. Exchange rates fetched automatically

With the Accounting module, exchange rates are downloaded every six hours. Nobody has to enter them by hand, and the rate history updates on its own.

  3. New version supersedes the old one

When you publish a new version of a rule set, the system automatically supersedes the previous version. You do not have to track down and retire the old version manually.

External integrations

  • Company lookup via Czech ARES on the formLoad company details from the Czech ARES business registry directly on the company form. An administrator enables the registry in settings; it is turned off by default.
  • Slovak open business registriesIntegration with the Slovak open registries RPO and RegisterUZ fetches details on Slovak companies. An administrator enables each registry separately in settings.
  • VAT ID verification via VIESThe European VIES system verifies the tax identification number (VAT ID) of any EU business. You can check the number right inside the system without visiting an external website.
  • Company details from Zive firmyThe Czech Zive firmy directory serves as an additional source for company lookups. Connection requires an access token, and an administrator enables the service in settings.

What the AI agent handles

  • The assistant knows your preferences

The assistant reads user preferences such as theme settings or saved list views. Sensitive preferences marked as secret are never exposed to it.

  • Change preferences via chat

The assistant updates user preferences using the same validation rules as the form. You can adjust your settings right in the chat, governed by the same rules as on screen.

A person approves whenever money, a customer, or an exception is involved.

05Frequently asked questions

Can Draivix look up a company in the Czech ARES registry by company ID?

Yes. The company form includes a registry lookup. Alongside the Czech ARES registry, it supports Slovak business registries, VAT ID validation in VIES and the Czech Zive firmy directory; an administrator can enable each registry in settings.

Can two invoices ever receive the same number?

No. Each number is reserved with a lock, and a manually entered number is never issued again.

Can I configure a custom document number format?

Yes. The format—including prefix, year and digit padding—is part of the field definition, so adding a new numbered document requires no coding.

Does the system store historical exchange rates?

Yes. One record is stored for each currency and day; when the Accounting module is enabled, exchange rates are fetched every six hours.

Can I switch the application to dark mode?

Yes. You can choose a light, dark or automatic theme in your profile. A default theme can also be set for a team, a role or the entire company.
